The Farm House

Ulwell Farmhouse is a semi detached listed building which is over 350 years old, built in local Purbeck stone, it is approximately 1.5 miles from Swanage on the road to Studland and the Sandbanks Ferry and adjacent to the small family holiday park (Ulwell Farm Caravan Park).

This is an ideal base from which to explore the many places of interest in Dorset and is an excellent area for walking, golfing, riding, fishing and watersports. The famous Swanage Steam Railway and Corfe Castle are both nearby.

The house features beamed ceilings and large fireplaces and has full gas central heating.

Downstairs accommodation comprises of a large kitchen/breakfast room with gas cooker, microwave oven, toaster, electric kettle, freezer, refrigerator and washing machine, large lounge/dining room with colour television and large bathroom and bath, separate shower, WC and wash basin.

Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and one single bedroom. There is ample room for a cot in either of the larger bedrooms.

The house has its own garden with small patio area, lawn and fruit trees and is enclosed for your privacy.

Car parking is off road and close to the house.

Central Heating, lighting and cooking are included in the hire charge.

The house is well equipped and the beds have duvets, pillows, blankets and mattress protectors. Please bring bed linen, towels and tea towels.

Cot and High Chairs are free of charge, subject to availability, please inquire when making a booking.

Local facilities include a small launderette, play area (approximately 20 metres), seasonal shop, village inn with restaurant approximately 100 metres away.

A regular bus service to Swange and Bournemouth (via Studland) passes the house.

The nearest railway station is at Wareham, 10 miles away from Swanage.

Children are most welcome, however, we regret that we are unable to take pets.

Ulwell Farm House is let from Saturday 3pm until Saturday 10am.

2016 Hire Charges are from £390 to £745 per week, including gas, electricity, and VAT.
